CERULEAN/SERAGLIO
A "Cerúleo" de Fabián
H. Ríos Rubino
One conjures
a sultry summer sky
The other a sullen sultan's palace.
One suggests a desert's starkly dry
Theatre, perhaps somewhat callous.
One ponders, expansively, woundrous why
The other, shall we say, workships the phallus.
One is strewn with constellation
The other gridded with contemplation
Not joined by etymological derivation,
Yet, I'm not sure where I'd rather vacation.
